Worldview Stuff

There are, and have been, fromthe first time that our first parents received God's Mandate for the human race, (Gen 1:26-31), only two major worldviews, Biblical Christianity (or in the OT true Jehovah worship) vs. everything else. The problem has always been that the followers of the One True God have tended to liberalize and let themselves be pulled over into the camp of the enemy. It is much the case today, as well exposited by Nathan Rogers, our minister of students, that professing Christians spend much of their time trying to either look, act, talk, and think like the world. We cannot have it both ways.

Luther said it this way:

"...If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battlefield besides, is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point...."

Back in a New Saddle Again

The Blog is back. We are going to be working on a different format of communicating. Our Sunday School lessons are available through Trace Creek's website, with downloadable audio.

Meanwhile, part of the change is going to be diversified discussions about theology and Bible, as before, but also with an eye to world affairs, politics, and worldview confrontations. So, here it is, for the few that have been faithful, let's blog again.
